Engagement sessions are generally about an hour long. This is enough time to create and capture all the magic of you and your partner. We can even talk about your Pinterest moodboard and source of inspo because I'm sure you've got one... =)
Engagement Session FAQ
What should we wear?
This is a very common question. Wear outfits that reflect your unique style and bring forth the most vibrant and enjoyable aspects of yourselves. Opt for clothing that embodies your best and most enjoyable attributes. Whether it be matching plaid shirts, boho chic, or cowboy boots and hats. However, I recommend avoiding ripped jeans and t-shirts... we're not in high school anymore...
Can we change outfits?
Of course. Outfit changes can be accommodated within the allocated time frame for your engagement session. If you opt for an outfit change, I recommend bringing both casual and semi-formal attire to introduce variety and enhance the visual narrative of the session.
How long will the session be?
Engagement sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes. That's the perfect window to capture a variety of shots, especially if you're up for the fun of changing into different outfits and exploring nearby locations.
Can we go to more than one location?
If we can reach these locations within the allotted 60-90 minute session, then absolutely. Let's pray there won't be any traffic.
Would you help choose the location?
I am committed to assisting in every possible way. Are there any locations that hold sentimental value for both of you? Thinking of a beach vibe or a local park? Let me know your thoughts, and we can brainstorm the perfect scene together
What if it rains?
In anticipation of rainy weather during the rainy season, I usually set up a designated rain date. If, by chance, both scheduled days happen to have rain in the forecast, we can be flexible and make a decision on rescheduling either the day before or the day of the session. Or we can shoot in the rain if ya'll trying to get the "Notebook" movie cover vibes...
How many pictures will we receive?
You can expect to receive a delivery of approximately 50-100 photos from your engagement session
When will we get our photos?
The standard turnaround time for delivery of your engagement photos is generally 30 days.
What about permits?
That's an excellent question! Most parks, gardens, and historical landmarks require a permit for a photoshoot. While I'm totally up for shooting in these beautiful locations with you, it's important to note that any associated permit or admission fees will be the responsibility of the couple.
